Position Summary

: The Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business and maintaining existing accounts for fuel products and services. This includes developing relationships with commercial, industrial, agricultural, and transportation clients; understanding their fuel needs; and offering customized solutions. The Sales Representative plays a critical role in driving revenue, supporting customer satisfaction, and promoting the company's brand within the fuel and energy market.

Responsibilities

:

• Identify, pursue, and secure new customers in industries such as transportation, construction, agriculture, logistics, and commercial fueling.
• Promote and sell a range of fuel-related products and services, including diesel, gasoline, lubricants, propane, and fuel delivery solutions.
• Conduct outbound sales calls, customer site visits, and in-person meetings to build strong client relationships.
• Prepare and deliver competitive proposals and quotes tailored to customer needs.
• Manage and grow existing accounts through regular communication, proactive service, and upselling opportunities.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in the CRM system.
• Work with operations and dispatch teams to ensure timely and accurate fuel deliveries.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, concerns, and service issues.
• Stay current on fuel market trends, pricing, supply availability, and competitor activity.
• Understand and explain technical details about fuel products, delivery equipment, fuel storage regulations, and service offerings.
• Provide guidance and support to customers regarding fuel usage, cost control, and compliance.
• Meet or exceed assigned sales targets, revenue goals, and customer retention objectives.
• Prepare regular sales activity reports, forecasts, and customer updates for management.
• Collaborate with internal departments such as operations, billing, and safety to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Attend trade shows, local business events, and industry meetings to promote the company and generate leads.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed to support company growth and objectives.

Qualifications

:

• High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) required; associate or bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
• 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in the fuel, energy, transportation, or industrial sectors.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management software.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required; ability to travel locally for client visits. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $75,000.00 per year
