Sales Associate (Full-Time Preferred) Bluegrass Furniture Outlet - Lexington, KY Bluegrass Furniture Outlet is growing, and we're looking for a motivated, hands-on Sales Associate to join our team. This is an all-in-one role that combines sales, customer service, furniture handling, and showroom setup , with strong earning potential through commission. We're looking for someone who is technologically inclined , comfortable working with customer financing , and able to communicate effectively with a diverse customer base.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers on the showroom floor and help them find the right furniture for their needs
• Close sales and earn commission based on performance
• Process customer orders and handle customer financing applications using in-store systems
• Clearly explain financing options to customers
• Help unload furniture trucks and move merchandise safely
• Assemble furniture (sofas, beds, etc.)
• Set up and maintain clean, attractive showroom displays
• Use point-of-sale systems, tablets, or computers for sales and inventory
• Work as a team to meet store goals and deliver excellent customer service

Requirements

• Sales or retail experience preferred (furniture sales a plus, but not required)
• Technologically comfortable (POS systems, financing platforms, tablets, basic computer skills)
• Ability to learn and process customer financing accurately
• Comfortable with physical work (lifting, moving, assembling furniture)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Weekend availability required
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Schedule
