Overview

: We are seeking a dynamic and creative Tattoo Designer with a strong sales and customer service background to join our growing studio. This hybrid role blends artistic talent with sales expertise , focusing on turning client consultations into completed bookings while delivering custom, high-quality tattoo designs. The ideal candidate understands both the art and business of tattooing -- someone who can design stunning visuals, build client trust, and drive revenue through excellent communication and product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

:

• Create custom tattoo designs and digital mockups using Procreate, Photoshop (PSD), Illustrator , or similar software
• Conduct client consultations to understand ideas, style preferences, and budget, converting inquiries into confirmed appointments
• Leverage sales techniques to upsell services , packages, and aftercare products
• Present design concepts effectively to clients, addressing their questions and ensuring satisfaction
• Maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals
• Collaborate with tattoo artists and the studio team to ensure seamless project delivery
• Contribute to marketing initiatives through design content for social media and promotional campaigns
• Track and report on sales performance, client leads, and conversion rates Required Skills &

Qualifications

:

• Proven experience in sales, customer engagement, or client service , ideally within a creative or studio environment
• Strong artistic and design skills with proficiency in Procreate , Photoshop (PSD) , and other design tools
• Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and communication abilities
• Ability to balance creative work with business objectives and client satisfaction
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Portfolio of tattoo or illustrative design work is required

Preferred Qualifications

:

• Experience in a tattoo studio , beauty, or creative retail environment
• Knowledge of tattooing techniques, placement, and industry trends
• Familiarity with CRM systems , client booking software, or sales tracking tools Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour Work Location: In person
