JLC-Tech is a family-run lighting company that is expanding, and we'd like you to join us on our extraordinary journey! JLC-Tech develops innovative LED lighting products and supplies our products to the high-end commercial architectural industry. We are seeking a highly organized, responsive & technically-oriented Inside Sales/Quotations Representative with excellent communication skills and a strong desire to learn and grow. A proactive, positive attitude and the willingness to collaborate with customers, your team and cross-functionally across the organization will be the keys to your success.

Key Responsibilities

:

• Customer Interaction : Communicate via email & phone with customers to gather necessary information and clarify specifications.
• Technical Support: Become an expert on JLC-Tech products. Provide general technical support to manufacturers' representatives, specifiers, distributors, electricians, and other customers,
• Technical Aptitude: Compare a bill of materials to design and layout needs, including review of ceiling types & construction.
• Quote Preparation: Review requests for quote, requests for information & drawings to prepare accurate and timely quotation.
• Layouts : Review basic ceiling and lighting layouts and develop color-coded models.
• Collaboration: Work closely with sales, procurement, and production teams to ensure the feasibility and accuracy of quotes. Be a team player.
• Documentation : Accurately follow existing standard operating procedures and methodologies.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel & Outlook. Desired Attributes:
• Associate's degree in business, finance, or a related field.
• Previous experience in sales support, quotations or customer service roles.
• Experience reading reflected ceiling plans, lighting schedules and familiarity with ceiling construction materials is a plus.
• Lighting experience is a plus.
