Junior Sales Engineer - Industrial / Mechanical (Midwest Territory) Location: Lake Zurich, IL (In-office + travel) Pay: $50,000-$65,000 base + commission Travel: ~30% (Midwest states) This role is NOT retail, NOT inside-only sales, and NOT customer service. Who This Role Is For This role is for someone with a mechanical or industrial engineering background who wants to build a career in technical B2B sales. You will work with manufacturers, OEMs, and industrial buyers selling engineered bearing solutions. If you do not have technical or engineering experience , this role is not a fit.

What You Will Do

• Travel ~30% across the Midwest (OH, MI, IN, IL, WI, MN, IA)
• Travel ~30% in local tri-state area.
• Work from the Lake Zurich office when not traveling
• Call on industrial customers and OEMs (manufacturing environment)
• Support and grow existing accounts
• Develop new business in assigned territory
• Prepare quotes using drawings, specs, and technical data
• Work with engineering, purchasing, and operations teams
• Track activity and opportunities in CRM
• Attend trade shows and customer visits

Required Qualifications

(Must Have)

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering OR 1-3 years in industrial technical sales / applications engineering
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
• Comfort working in manufacturing environments
• Willingness to travel regularly
