Full description of the position

The following areas of responsibilities will include, but are not limited to an Outside Dealer Sales Representative of Metro Auto Auction:

• Visit dealers to foster and maintain working relationships
• Provide weekly sales and marketing schedule to Manager
• Partner with dealers to consign vehicles
• Confirm reserved numbers before weekly sale
• Assist the set-up of lanes
• Walk consigned vehicles prior to auction
• Assist with any last-minute adjustments or changes
• Weekly coordination of vehicles
• Maintain dealer inventory including lights and lows
• Communicate as necessary to procure inventory
• Confirm and coordinate reconditioning work
• Confirm vehicles are set to run (on spot) prior to sale
• Prepare sale lists for each dealer prior to sale
• Monitor sale results
• Provide all necessary post sale reports
• Thorough understanding of automotive industry and trends Minimum

Requirements

:

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 1 - 3 years outside automotive sales experience
• Active or proven book of business with automotive dealers
• Ability to meet with top decision makers and develop unwavering dealer relationships
• Valid Texas driver's license with good driving record and reliable transportation
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Big picture outlook with an ownership and team player mentality
• Demonstrates a "can do" attitude
• Exceptional analytical, written, verbal and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize, follow up, and multi-task
• Superb organizational and time management skills
• History of good attendance, punctuality and stable work history
• Demonstrates good manners and exemplary customer service behavior
