Full description of the position

Key Responsibilities

• Review customer requests, drawings, specifications, and project requirements to determine scope
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, quotes, proposals, and pricing packages for products or services
• Collaborate with sales, project management, purchasing, and operations teams to verify pricing and production capabilities
• Research material, labor, and subcontractor costs to ensure accurate and competitive estimates
• Communicate with customers to clarify requirements, answer questions, and support the sales cycle
• Track the status of quotes and proposals and follow up as needed to drive conversions
• Maintain organized records of estimates, pricing, and historical project data
• Assist with proposal presentations and technical documentation as required
• Support negotiation discussions by providing pricing justification and cost breakdowns
• Analyze win/loss data to improve estimating accuracy and pricing strategies
• Ensure quotes comply with company policies, pricing models, and profitability targets
• Stay informed on industry trends, material costs, and competitive market pricing Required Skills &

Qualifications

• Experience in estimating, pricing, quoting, sales support, or related field preferred
• Strong analytical and mathematical abilities
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, or specifications (if applicable to industry)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously
• Customer service-oriented with strong interpersonal skills
