Business Development Manager - Freight & Logistics Sales

• Location: Piscataway, NJ 08854 Job Type: Full-time

Compensation

: $70,000-$100,000 base + uncapped commission Are you a proven B2B freight sales professional ready to drive new business and grow key accounts? MX Logistics is hiring a Business Development Manager to build pipeline, close new freight transportation customers, and expand long-term relationships. You'll be supported by an experienced operations team and have direct impact on your earnings. • What You 'll Do
• Own the full sales cycle: prospect, pitch, close, and grow freight transportation accounts
• Build and manage a consistent pipeline through outbound outreach and referrals
• Conduct discovery to understand shipping needs and present tailored freight and logistics solutions
• Meet or exceed revenue targets and track activity in CRM
• Partner with operations to ensure smooth onboarding and strong customer experience
• Meet locally and regionally with customers as needed (expenses reimbursed)
• What We 're Looking For
• 3+ years of B2B freight or logistics sales experience with a track record of closing and growing accounts
• Strong prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills
• Understanding of transportation operations and customer decision drivers
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and CRM tools
• Ability to meet with customers locally What We Offer
