Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a strong ability to drive sales in a retail environment. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, maintaining store standards, and supporting the overall success of the sales team.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
• Process transactions accurately using the cash register and POS systems.
• Handle cash and credit transactions with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Maintain an organized and well-stocked sales floor by restocking shelves and managing inventory.
• Assist in supervising junior staff members to ensure efficient operations.
• Provide product knowledge to customers, promoting sales and enhancing their shopping experience.
• Uphold store cleanliness and presentation standards, ensuring merchandise is displayed attractively.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly with professionalism and courtesy.

Requirements

• Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing stock levels.
• Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with cash registers, POS systems, and cash handling procedures.
• Strong phone etiquette for handling customer calls effectively.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
• Experience in supervising or mentoring staff is a plus but not required.
