Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Pawn Broker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating and purchasing items from customers, providing exceptional service, and maintaining a well- organized retail environment. This role requires strong communication skills, basic math proficiency, and a passion for helping customers find the best solutions for their needs.

Duties

• Assess the value of items brought in by customers for pawn or sale, utilizing knowledge of market trends and product value.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with clients, answering questions, and offering product demonstrations.
• Maintain an organized inventory by stocking items appropriately and ensuring all products are displayed attractively.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance the overall customer experience.
• Process transactions accurately using a cash register, ensuring proper handling of cash and credit transactions.
• Utilize retail math skills to manage pricing, discounts, and inventory turnover effectively.
• Exhibit phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries over the phone, providing information about services offered.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
• Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing and inventory management.
• Experience in customer service or retail sales is preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with others in a fast-paced environment to achieve sales targets.
• Familiarity with product demonstrations to showcase items effectively to potential buyers.
• Proficient in cash register operation and handling financial transactions accurately.
