Description

• Permanent position for an entry-level or experienced Application Engineer to support customers and sales engineers for rotating equipment design, testing and troubleshooting.
• Work with Project Engineers and Technicians on technical support.
• Work with water and wastewater, power generation, oil and gas, petrochemical, and marine sectors.
• Ability to learn advanced field test methods.
• Familiarity with FEA and CFD analysis processes.
• Develop work plans and cost estimates focused on solving customers' equipment challenges.
• Periodic support of field testing alongside experienced technical staff.
• Involvement throughout all project phases.
• Participate in project follow-ups, contribute to technical case histories and blog content.
• Support conference attendance, customer visits, and training activities.

Requirements

• BS Mechanical Engineering.
• United States citizenship or permanent residency is required as job involves ITAR-controlled subjects.
• Experience with rotating equipment applications.
• Ability to learn field test methods.
• Familiarity with FEA and CFD analysis.
• Strong communication skills.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
• Less than 20%, primarily within North America.
