Elliott Electric Supply in Lenexa, KS is looking to add an Outside Sales Account Manager to our team. This person will help us reach out and establish relationships in the general Kansas City area with a primary focus on commercial and industrial facilities. We are looking for the right person who can help us grow with customers such as large colleges, hospitals, industrial manufacturing facilities, etc. This means navigating the world of corporate purchasing teams along with the people needing the electrical supplies such as their inhouse maintenance staff. Time will be a combination of outside the store(s) working directly with customers and being inside the store(s) as needed. Our Outside Sales Team is one of the most important positions in our company. Establishes initial contact with prospective customers and takes responsibility for identifying and developing new business opportunities. Develops and maintains customer contacts and solicits opportunities for additional company involvement. Provides follow up contacts to assure customer satisfaction and to provide required advice in various technical and product capability areas. Solicit new business opportunities on a routine basis for expansion of the company involvement at customer locations

Qualifications

: Electrical experience in either the field or sales side is required. The successful candidate will possess industry and territory knowledge required for maximum potential. In addition, he/she must be to able to manage well established existing customer relationships and prospect for future opportunities in trading areas served.
