Producer, you will collaborate closely with account managers, analysts, and leadership to provide clients with strategic guidance and exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and generate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and industry outreach.
• Conduct needs assessments with clients to understand funding structures, claims trends, and benefit goals.
• Present benefits solutions across medical, dental, vision, life, disability, voluntary benefits, and HR support services.
• Partner with internal teams to develop proposals, respond to RFPs, and support stewardship meetings.
• Build long-term advisory relationships with HR and executive leaders.
• Track market trends, compliance requirements (ACA/ERISA), and carrier offerings.
• Collaborate with colleagues across P&C and HR consulting to identify cross-selling opportunities. Why Join CGO

Requirements

• 1-3+ years of experience in employee benefits, health insurance, or related sales environment.
• Illinois Life & Health insurance license (or ability to obtain within 60 days).
• Proven ability to prospect, cold call, and build a personal pipeline.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills; comfortable meeting with HR and executive-level clients.
• Highly motivated, organized, and driven to achieve sales goals.
• Ability to work hybrid schedule in Lisle, IL (2-3 days per week onsite).
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for occasional client meetings.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States; no future sponsorship required.
