Overview

: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Catering Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and experience in coordinating catering events. This role involves overseeing all aspects of catering operations to ensure seamless execution.

Job Description

: Assist the Sales and Catering department in the administrative functions required for effective management of the Catering Department.

• Account prospecting, solicitation, and development via telephone, personal contact, outside calls, correspondence, email and other means of communication.
• Ensure sales and catering goals are met or exceeded.
• Manage lead sources to ensure quantity and quality of leads.
• Create customized wedding package, menus, and proposals, etc.
• Respond to all customer inquiries within 24 hours or sooner.
• Prepare and present proposals and contracts both written and verbal in a prompt, accurate, profitable, pleasant and professional manner.
• Conduct hotel site inspections, entertain both in house and off property, and maintain thorough follow up methods.
• Handle account details and coordinate final arrangements with F&B Managers.
• Track and report on all catering and event sales activities for hotel.
• Track and report on all event planner surveys and feedback.
• Drive strategies to develop long term business relationships and repeat business.
• Represent hotel at tradeshows, and other events to promote the hotel to prospective clients.
• Monitor sales performance to ensure revenue goals meet or exceed established plan and accurately report variance/projections to management.
• Participate in weekly revenue meeting and use Revenue Management resources to help make informed decisions and maximize revenue.
• Occasionally cover front desk
• Operate shuttle (Must have a valid Driver License) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $19.00 - $26.00 per hour
