Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to enhance their shopping experience
• Assist customers in selecting furniture pieces that meet their needs, preferences, and budgets
• Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to highlight the value of different items
• Upsell complementary products and accessories to maximize sales opportunities
• Manage stock levels by merchandising displays, stocking shelves, and organizing inventory
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions including cash handling and receipts
• Maintain excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or scheduling appointments Skills
• Proven experience in retail sales, preferably within furniture or home decor environments
• Strong communication skills with the ability to listen actively and convey product information clearly
• Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs effectively
• Supervising experience is advantageous for team collaboration and leadership opportunities
• Knowledge of POS systems, cashiering procedures, and basic math for transactions and inventory management
• Customer service expertise with a friendly, professional attitude at all times
• Familiarity with merchandising, stocking, and retail math techniques to optimize sales displays and inventory levels
