Large North Suburban based component manufacturer specializing in CNC and multi-spindle precision metal machining is seeking a New Business Development Manager (Outside Sales). This position is responsible for generating new business opportunities. Position

Responsibilities

• Regular travel primarily throughout the Midwest (minimum 50% travel M-Th)
• Additional travel throughout North America/Mexico as necessary to support company efforts as well as customer needs.
• Grow our overall business through new customer projects and diversification of our current business portfolio (networkinglead generation).
• Manage and grow existing accounts and use your outside sales experience to prospect and develop new business.
• Ability to work independently with both company personnel as well as clients.
• Ability to manage complex customer / supplier relationships. Minimum

Requirements

• 5+ years outside sales representative / sales account manager experience.
• Demonstrated record of sales growth / customer development.
• Experience in metals, and/or manufacturing preferred.
• Valid driver's license and excellent driving record.
• Familiar with Microsoft Suite (strong with Excel)
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and presentation skills.
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Experience working for a precision machinery company preferred.
