Full description of the position

We are currently looking for an General Sales Manager for a growing Automotive Dealership. This is a great opportunity to join a growing organization that values employees and provides a wonderful work environment! The right candidate will be a true leader, committed to growing the business by increasing market share and developing loyal customers. The General Sales Manager is expected to uphold high ethical standards, have excellent customer service, and create a positive sales environment. Candidates must have a successful proven track record with a consistent and stable work history.

Responsibilities

:

  • Identify coaching needs and promote training opportunities
  • Hire, mentor, and monitor the performance of department managers
  • Set an example of professionalism through actions and appearance
  • Ensure target revenues are met or exceeded
  • Manage profitability in both the new and pre-owned vehicle departments
  • Assist in developing and managing an effective advertising and marketing plan
  • Develop a productive relationship throughout the dealership
  • Be the biggest promoter of customer service index (CSI) throughout the dealership
  • Maintain a positive and ethical working relationship with all employees, manufacturers, lenders, vendors, and customers
