About Us
: Global Smile Foundation (GSF) envisions a world where no child or adult suffers needlessly from untreated cleft. Job Description
: The Materials Management Coordinator (MMC) is a crucial support role responsible for managing and maintaining the physical inventory for GSF's Outreach Medical Program (OMPs). This position ensures that all medical supplies are accurately tracked, organized, and available for upcoming missions. Primary
Responsibilities
:
- Maintain accurate inventory records
- Generate needs and packing lists for each OMP
- Pack and prepare supplies for program teams
- Process supply returns after trips
- Monitor inventory levels, identify shortages, and manage expired/damaged products
- Receive incoming shipments
- Communicate with On-Site Coordinators regarding supply needs
- Source, order, and secure needed materials
- Submit reports to stakeholders Job
Requirements
:
- Experience in Materials Management or as an RN with OR experience
- Experience with Surgical or Operating Room assistant / materials handling and Post Secondary Education required or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and effective communication skills
- Desirable: Clinical background, prior medical mission experience, healthcare medical supply experience, knowledge of medical terminology
- Proficiency in MS Office for data entry into inventory systems
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 pounds

: This is a part-time (20-30 hours/week), on-site position in Norwood, MA. We offer a flexible, school-friendly schedule.
