Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Physician Liaison to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will serve as a vital link between our medical facility and the community, promoting our services and building relationships with referring physicians. This role requires a deep understanding of various medical specialties. The Physician Liaison will play a crucial role in enhancing patient referrals and ensuring seamless communication between healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with referring physicians and their staff to promote our services.
• Conduct presentations and educational sessions to inform physicians about new treatments, services, and advancements in care.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure that patient needs are met effectively.
• Gather feedback from referring physicians regarding their experiences and suggestions for improvement.
• Monitor referral patterns and identify opportunities for growth in specific service lines.
• Attend community events and health fairs to represent the organization and engage with potential referral sources.
• Prepare reports on referral activity and present findings to management for strategic planning.
• Scheduling specialty surgeries/procedures. Experience
• Proven experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a liaison or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and various specialties.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse groups of healthcare professionals.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• A background in sales or marketing within the healthcare industry is advantageous preferred.
