Job Title: Vice President, Sales & Business Development Location: Santa Clara, CA (Onsite) Travel: Frequent domestic and international travel required

About the Role

We are seeking a highly accomplished and results-driven Vice President of Sales & Business Development to lead our global revenue generation initiatives and drive strategic market expansion. This executive leader will play a critical role in shaping our commercial strategy, strengthening customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities within the semiconductor industry. As a key member of the leadership team, the VP will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy, managing high-value client engagements--including C-level relationships--and identifying growth opportunities across product lines and global markets. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires a deep understanding of technical sales and frequent travel. Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Sales & Business Growth

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies aligned with company growth objectives.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new domestic and international business opportunities.
  • Lead the full sales cycle -- from prospecting to deal closure.
  • Develop accurate sales forecasts and define key performance indicators (KPIs) for executive leadership.
  • Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual business reports and strategy updates to the CEO. Team Leadership & Development
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales team.
  • Establish performance metrics and ensure accountability across the sales organization.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure offerings align with evolving market needs. Client Relationship Management
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including engineers and C-level executives.
  • Prepare and deliver tailored technical and business presentations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic accounts and overseas distributors.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, understanding customers' business objectives and aligning solutions accordingly. Technical Sales & Product Expertise
  • Demonstrate technical equipment capabilities and solutions to customers.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of core product lines, applications, and technical requirements.
  • Provide customer training on product use, installation, and qualification.
  • Collect customer specifications to develop customized, cost-effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with engineering to propose new product concepts and enhancements. Additional
Responsibilities
  • Represent the company at industry trade shows, conferences, and key client meetings.
  • Drive demand creation, forecasting, and order fulfillment.
  • Ensure accurate and timely CRM documentation of all sales activities.
  • Support business strategy through market analysis and competitive intelligence.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in sales and business development leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong background in semiconductor equipment or related high-tech industries preferred.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proven ability to manage domestic and international accounts.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms.
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. and able to pass a background check. Pay DOE +
