Position Summary

Seeking a dependable and customer-focused Inside Sales professional to support daily customer interactions, issuing quotes, order processing, and internal coordination across sales, operations, and shipping. This position plays a critical role in ensuring customers receive timely communication, accurate order entry, and excellent service throughout the order lifecycle. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing and distribution environment.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Support Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries via phone and email Provide professional and timely communication regarding orders, pricing, lead times, shipping status, and product information Build strong customer relationships through responsive and solution-oriented service Assist customers with troubleshooting basic order and delivery issues Order Entry & Processing Enter and maintain customer orders accurately within the ERP system Review purchase orders for pricing, terms, product accuracy, and delivery requirements Coordinate with purchasing, production, warehouse, and shipping departments to ensure on-time fulfillment Process returns, credits, and order changes as needed Account & Administrative Support Maintain customer records and documentation Assist with preparing quotations and supporting the sales team Monitor open orders and proactively communicate delays or issues Support collections efforts by communicating with customers regarding past due invoices when necessary Assist with general office and administrative duties as assigned Internal Coordination Work closely with operations and production teams to prioritize customer needs Help identify process improvement opportunities within customer service workflows Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all communications and transactions

Qualifications

Required 5+ years of customer service, inside sales support, or administrative experience Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Preferred Experience in manufacturing, industrial distribution, or hose/fittings industry ERP system experience (Tribute ERP experience preferred) Experience processing purchase orders and coordinating shipments Basic understanding of inventory, logistics, or production processes Schedule Full-time position Onsite Required Monday through Friday Standard business hours with occasional overtime as needed
