Nelson Wholesale Service, Inc. works closely with Independent Feed Stores and Pet Centers to provide them with the products and services to make them more successful. Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for servicing existing and prospective accounts. Nelson Wholesale is currently looking to fill outside sales position covering SW &Central; Louisiana. Travel and overnight stays are a requirement. Basic knowledge of agriculture and related products is required.

Responsibilities

: This individual would be responsible for calling on existing clientele at feed and farm supply stores, pet stores and hardware stores. Prospective employee will be expected to make productive sales calls on all existing businesses as well as working diligently to acquire new business through cold calls and vendor referrals. Prospective employee is expected to spend the proper amount of nights out as needed to effectively support continued growth throughout the sales territory. Prospective employee will be expected to participate in all educational meetings, trade shoes and training events. We expect all employees to develop a strong working knowledge of all products and merchandise associated with distribution. A computer will be provided to the employee and it is essential that a strong working knowledge is developed pertaining to all facets of our business. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $55,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year Experience:
