Overview

: The selected candidate would be responsible for managing an existing portfolio of commercial maintenance accounts, as well as developing and selling new business for new clients, generating proposals and contracts , extensive knowledge of horticultural and maintenance practices, knowledge of installation practices, working individually and collaboratively with employees of all levels, and building relationships.

Duties and Responsibilities

:

• Manage an existing commercial landscape maintenance portfolio
• Meet with clients regarding landscape services and site improvements
• Increase sales of seasonal enhancements
• Monitor client preferences to determine focus of sales efforts
• Resolve customer concerns regarding sales and service
• Review operational records and reports to forecast sales and determine profitability
• Expand upon the existing client base by generating new sales leads
• Preparation of contract renewals and proposals
• Visit client locations to ensure quality of work is exceeding expectations
• Assess performance of landscape crews based on quality and efficiency
• Provide reports to the President Additional

• Work with the snow team in the winter months
• Work interdepartmentally to expand sales revenues

Qualifications

:

• High school diploma required
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
• 2 years landscape industry experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Microsoft Office proficient (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Self-motivated and able to work effectively with a team
• Strong leadership skills
• Proven sales and account management history
• Bilingual a plus
• Valid driver's license Additional Information: This position is a full-time, year-round position with a salary commensurate with experience, optional commission based compensation and a benefits package offered.
