Full description of the position

Basic Functions & Objectives:

• The Account Manager role at Online Transport is a critical role that works to support our professional drivers and customers while achieving stated goals.
• This professional will need to have exceptional communication skills and a strong ability to multitask while paying attention to detail.
• Maintaining and further developing strong relationships with current customers.
• Work with your leader and team members to develop cross-coverage training plans and other duties as assigned.
• Provide input and suggestions on process improvement ideas.

Responsibilities

:

• Data Entry, scheduling, shipment tracking, and status updates for customers.
• Updating Customer Portals, when required.
• Ensure all paperwork is entered for each load (ie tender, BOL, lumper receipt etc)
• Developing creative problem solving procedures through experience and abstract thinking.
• Communicate with Driver Leaders regarding pickups, deliveries, issues, and concerns.
• Develop countermeasures to provide best in class service. Job

Requirements

:

• Experience in the trucking industry dispatching and/or driver management is preferred.
• Great attitude and troubleshooting abilities.
• Good understanding of FMCSR's (Hours of Service and Axle Weight & Spacing).
• Ability to work independently is a must.
• Must be exceptional with driver and customer relations.
• TMW Experience Required
• Previous Truckload Experience Required
• Ability to efficiently use Windows and Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook) Job Type: Full-time
