What we do: Casa Sanchez Foods manufacturers and distributes Fresh Salsa and Tortilla Chips to Northern California supermarkets. Tasks: The Route Sales Representative (RSR) is responsible for delivering and selling products directly to customers at designated locations and times. This role involves managing product inventory on the truck, ensuring shelves are fully stocked and well-presented, and building positive relationships with customers. Selling Opportunities: With commission to accompany salary, the RSR has a chance at increasing compensation through creativity in placing and displaying products as well as developing rewarding relationships.

Responsibilities

:

• Drive and service an assigned route, making sales to customers on designated days and times
• Maximize shelf space and product visibility
• Secure additional display opportunities to enhance product presence
• Rotate stock, fully stock shelves, and front-face products for optimal presentation
• Request and manage store back-stock inventory
• Build and maintain friendly, respectful relationships with customers
• Communicate regularly with DSD management regarding all activities
• Operate vehicle safely and in compliance with all legal requirements
• Load, unload, and maintain accurate product inventory on the truck
• Adhere to food safety guidelines at all times
• Perform required vehicle pre-trip inspections

Requirements

:

• Valid California Class C Driver's License -Clean DMV record (H-6 required): No driving-related suspensions, revocations, or cancellations; No disqualifying offenses or major violations, including DUI/DWI or reckless driving; No more than two moving violations
• Flexible schedule; shift may begin as early as 4:00 a.m.
• Ability to safely load/unload up to 35 lbs., push and pull product racks, and perform physical tasks including bending, reaching, and squatting
• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous merchandising or sales experience preferred
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong commitment to quality, professionalism, and high standards
• Adaptable, flexible, and enthusiastic about working in a dynamic environment
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively
• Basic English communication skills required
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Basic computer literacy; comfortable using an iPhone or Android device Job Type: Full-time Pay: $3,943.76 - $4,365.32 per month
