Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Personal Lines Insurance Account Manager to join our growing independent insurance agency. This inside position is responsible for servicing existing personal lines clients, processing policy changes, preparing quotes, handling endorsements, and identifying opportunities to round accounts through additional coverage recommendations. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and experienced in personal lines insurance with a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Process policy endorsements, renewals, and other service requests
• Prepare and present personal lines insurance quotes
• Assist clients with coverage questions and policy reviews
• Handle daily servicing of personal auto, home, umbrella, and other personal lines accounts
• Work directly with insurance carriers to resolve policy and underwriting issues
• Identify account rounding opportunities and recommend additional coverages to better protect clients
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation within the agency management system
• Follow up on outstanding quotes, renewals, and service items
• Deliver outstanding customer service through phone, email, and in-person communication

Qualifications

• Previous personal lines insurance experience preferred
• Active Property & Casualty License preferred (or ability to obtain)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
• Ability to multitask and manage a busy workload
• Experience with agency management systems and carrier rating platforms is a plus
