Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products that meet their needs
• Conduct engaging product demos to highlight features and benefits
• Upsell additional items or services to enhance customer satisfaction and sales volume
• Manage retail sales transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems, including cash handling and basic math calculations
• Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure showroom floor is organized
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive shopping experience
• Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when handling inquiries or follow-up calls from customers or vendors

Qualifications

• Previous retail sales experience, preferably in furniture or specialty stores
• Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and retail math calculations
• Supervising experience is a plus, especially in managing team members or training new staff
• Ability to perform merchandising, stocking, and inventory management tasks efficiently
• Excellent communication skills, including bilingual abilities to serve diverse customers effectively
• Knowledge of furniture or mattress store operations and retail sales transactions is highly desirable
