Outside Sales Representative Building Materials This is an outside sales position with an established book of business. The role focuses on estimating, selling, and managing building material packages for residential construction projects, including new homes, additions, and remodels. Once acclimated to our systems and processes, this position will have access to over $3 million in annual sales volume.

Key Responsibilities

• Quote and sell building material packages for residential construction projects
• Prepare accurate estimates using company systems and pricing tools
• Manage and grow assigned customer accounts (builders, contractors, remodelers)
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely ordering, delivery, and issue resolution
• Expedite orders and proactively resolve jobsite or scheduling challenges
• Maintain strong customer relationships through regular communication and job follow-up
• Identify opportunities to increase share of wallet with existing customers

Required Qualifications

• Prior experience in the building materials or construction industry (required)
• Ability to read plans and perform material takeoffs and estimates
• Strong understanding of residential construction processes and sequencing
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Self-directed, organized, and accountable

Compensation

• Base salary: $26,000 per year
• Monthly commission based on sales performance
• Significant earnings potential tied to an established customer base and available volume Job Type: Full-time Pay: $70,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
