Overview

TWFG Insurance is one of the largest privately held independent insurance agencies in the country and is headquartered in The Woodlands, TX. TWFG represents over 200 insurance carriers and is licensed to do business in 49 states. We are seeking a motivated and organized Insurance Agent to join our corporate branch. An Agent will generate new business by prospecting, developing, and marketing new leads. This position involves significant phone work and requires excellent phone etiquette and outstanding interpersonal skills. The main focus of an Agent is producing new business while providing excellent customer service to retain existing clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop leads by networking, cold calling, referrals, and other various sources.
• Identify customer needs and promote product solutions.
• Build and maintain exceptional customer relationships.
• Maintain and service existing clients.
• Stay current on carrier appetites and product availability.
• Positively promote and represent the TWFG brand.

Requirements

• Must have a current Texas General Lines Agent Property & Casualty license.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of independent agency experience.
• Excellent prospecting, time management, and organizational skills.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and personable phone skills.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, influence, and sell effectively.
• Commercial Lines and/or Life & Health experience is Strongly Preferred. Pay: From $44,000.00 per year
