In this role, you will work directly with customers in the Florida area, helping them understand the benefits of Verizon and how it compares to their current wireless services. Many customers are unaware of how much technology has advanced, and you'll be there to bridge that gap. As a Verizon Sales Agent, you will educate customers on device upgrades, data plans, trade-in options, and the capabilities of connectivity, including faster downloads and improved performance. You will also be trained to confidently address customer questions and concerns, helping them make informed decisions about their wireless service. The goal is to provide a clear, simple, and helpful experience while matching each customer with the right plan for their needs. This role requires strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to connect with people from all backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers to introduce Verizon and data plans through conversations that are respectful and welcoming.
• Take time to understand how customers use their phones day-to-day, then suggest data plans and device options that better support their routines and preferences.
• Break down plan choices, pricing, and phone features into simple, easy-to-follow explanations that help customers feel comfortable during sales conversations.
• Walk customers step-by-step through selecting a phone and completing enrollment, ensuring the process feels smooth, clear, and stress-free.
• Keep thoughtful notes on customer interactions, preferences, and questions to support meaningful follow-up and continued sales engagement.
• Contribute to team success by turning everyday conversations into positive experiences that lead to consistent sales results and satisfied customers.

Qualifications

of the Verizon Sales Agent

• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Proven ability to close sales of smartphones, accessories, and wireless plans.
• Confidence in presenting sales promotions and upselling bundled services.
• Goaloriented mindset with commitment to hitting monthly sales targets.
• Sales orientation to promote Verizon's latest cell phone models and data bundles. Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
