Tenlight Energy Outside Sales Representative We are hiring for several positions throughout New Jersey. Tenlight Energy helps commercial and multifamily building owners access Energy Efficiency Upgrades and EV Chargers through both state funding and utility incentive programs (Small Business Direct Install). Projects are highly incented with 6080% of the cost covered by incentives. This is a full-cycle sales role. You source your own opportunities, run your own deals, and close. Internal engineering and operations teams handle technical evaluations and project execution; your job is the sale.

Compensation

3% commission on closed deals + $60,000 per year paid on a bi-weekly basis. Earnings are uncapped. Top performers earn $200K$500K+.

Responsibilities

• Build and own your pipeline through field prospecting
• Identify Energy Efficiency and EV Charging upgrade opportunities in commercial facilities
• Engage owners, landlords, and key decision-makers
• Coordinate site assessments with internal teams
• Drive the sales process from first contact through signed agreement
• Maintain deal ownership through project approval and closeout

Requirements

• Proven experience closing deals in HVAC, mechanical, construction, or a related field
• Comfortable owning a full sales cycle without technical execution responsibilities
• Strong in-person sales capability
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ideal Background
• HVAC or mechanical sales
• Commercial real estate or multi-site facility operators
• Energy efficiency or utility program experience Pay: $60,000.00 per year
