Group Sales Manager We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Group Sales Manager who is a true go-getter with a passion for building relationships and driving revenue. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of progressive sales experience in the Sacramento market and play a key role in achieving the hotel's financial goals through the sale of guest rooms, meeting space, and catering services.This individual is highly organized, self-motivated, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. They are proactive in identifying new business opportunities, think outside the box to create innovative sales strategies, and are not afraid to make cold calls, knock on doors, and network within the community to generate new business. Success in this role requires creativity, persistence, and the ability to uncover opportunities where others may not.The successful candidate will respond to leads, conduct property site tours, maintain and grow existing accounts, and develop new client relationships while serving as an ambassador for the hotel. They consistently meet or exceed revenue goals, demonstrate exceptional negotiation and closing skills, and take ownership of their sales pipeline from prospecting through contract execution.Active participation in industry organizations such as MPI (Meeting Professionals International),Association of the West , and SGMP (Society of Government Meeting Professionals) is expected. Occasional travel is required for client meetings, sales calls, and trade shows. Experience with Delphi is preferred.We offer a competitive salary with a quarterly performance-based bonus program. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
