Are you a relationship-builder who thrives on turning conversations into long- term partnerships? Sustainable Island Products is looking for a Territory Sales Representative to manage and grow a defined customer base across our Hawaii territories. This is a target-focused role for a self-motivated sales professional who knows how to read a room, solve problems on the fly, and close deals with integrity. You'll be the face of our company to customers in Honolulu and on Kauai building relationships, proposing tailored product solutions, and helping us grow while staying true to our commitment to sustainability and service.

What You'll Do

• Manage a portfolio of active accounts and prospect for new business within your assigned territory
• Maintain a regular cadence of customer visits, calls, and email communications
• Understand customer needs and recommend the right products from our catalog
• Provide pricing, samples, and product education to support ordering decisions
• Prepare and send quotes to key decision makers
• Follow up consistently to ensure order accuracy and customer satisfaction
• Monitor order patterns and flag changes, issues, or opportunities to Operations and Purchasing
• Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to grow revenue
• Keep accurate, up-to-date notes in the CRM
• Provide usage projections to Purchasing to help maintain appropriate stock levels
• Collaborate with Customer Care, Purchasing, and Warehouse teams for smooth delivery and service
• Act as a liaison and advocate to help resolve customer service issues
• Stay on top of local competitors, pricing trends, and market dynamics
• Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
• Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and promotional campaigns

What You Bring

• 2+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in distribution, foodservice, or packaging
• A track record of success managing a sales territory or account portfolio
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency with CRM platforms, Excel, and Google Workspace
• The ability to work independently and manage a flexible, self-directed schedule
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel interisland as needed
• A proactive, customer-first, solutions-oriented mindset Nice to Have
• Knowledge of sustainable packaging products or experience in eco-conscious industries
• Familiarity with Hawaii's hospitality, restaurant, and retail markets
• Background in consultative or technical product sales
