Overview

The Commercial Construction Business Development Manager is responsible for developing new commercial relationships, generating qualified opportunities, and increasing revenue through strategic relationship development. This is a true outside business development role focused on building referral partnerships, networking within the community, identifying opportunities, and creating a strong commercial pipeline. The ideal candidate is a proactive sales professional who thrives on meeting new people, building relationships, and creating opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow commercial accounts within an assigned territory
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, outreach, and relationship development
• Build relationships with commercial decision-makers including:
• Property managers
• Facility managers
• Insurance professionals
• Commercial real estate professionals
• Business owners
• Other strategic referral partners
• Conduct regular in-person meetings, networking activities, and client visits
• Generate opportunities for restoration and reconstruction services
• Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline
• Track activity, opportunities, and relationship development through CRM systems
• Follow opportunities through the sales process
• Collaborate with internal operations teams to ensure excellent client experiences
• Meet or exceed sales goals and revenue objectives

• Proven success in outside sales, business development, or territory growth
• Strong relationship-building skills
• Comfortable with prospecting and generating new opportunities

Compensation

$60,000-$75,000 base salary plus commission (OTE $100,000-$125,000)
