Insurance Account Manager (Producer Support & Carrier Relations) Job Brief We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Insurance Account Manager to support our producers and strengthen carrier relationships. This role is focused on the business side of insurance operations , including preparing quotes and proposals, managing submissions, binding coverage, and working directly with insurance carriers and underwriters to ensure smooth placement of business. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working behind the scenes in a fast-paced agency environment, and confident communicating with both internal producers and external carrier partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare insurance quotes, proposals, and submissions for personal and/or commercial lines accounts
• Work closely with producers to structure and present coverage options to clients
• Submit new and renewal business to carriers and follow through to binding
• Coordinate with insurance carriers and underwriters to negotiate terms, resolve underwriting questions, and move business forward
• Issue binders, certificates of insurance, and policy documentation as needed
• Track and manage the status of all quotes, renewals, and pending submissions
• Maintain strong working relationships with carrier partners and underwriting contacts
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of all applications and supporting documentation
• Support producers by organizing and prioritizing incoming opportunities and renewals

Qualifications

• Experience in insurance account support, underwriting support, CSR, or agency operations preferred
• Strong understanding of insurance processes (quoting, binding, renewals, submissions)
• Comfortable communicating professionally with insurance carriers and underwriters
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with agency management systems is a plus
• Property & Casualty insurance knowledge preferred What This Role is NOT

Compensation
