Job Summary

MUST SPEAK SPANISH AND ENGLISH We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Insurance Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while assisting clients in selecting the right insurance policies to meet their needs. This role requires strong sales skills, effective communication abilities (billingual/Spanish,) and a passion for helping others secure their financial future. Must have own vehicle and valid CT driver's license, SS# or Tax ID. Must have own vehicle, be detail oriented and be interested in helping a small insurance agency and staff improve and grow. Take relative pride in your appearance and hygiene. Be a person others want to work around and with.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their insurance needs
• Present and explain insurance policy options to clients, ensuring they are informed of coverage details
• Negotiate terms and conditions of insurance policies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients
• Conduct outside sales activities, including networking and community engagement, to generate new business
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and policy details in the company database
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and product offerings to provide informed recommendations Skills
• Proven sales experience with a strong track record in retail sales or outside sales
• Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey complex information clearly
• Experience in customer service with a focus on building long-term relationships
• Multilingual abilities are a plus, or bilingual Spanish/ English is required for enhancing communication with diverse clientele
• Familiarity with telemarketing techniques is advantageous for reaching potential clients
