Full description of the position

The Sales Clerk provides frontline customer service by assisting customers in identifying, locating, and purchasing automotive parts and related items. This role requires strong product knowledge, the ability to determine appropriate replacement parts, and the skill to process sales transactions accurately. The Sales Clerk maintains store presentation by stocking shelves, labeling merchandise, and keeping checkout and common areas clean and orderly. Additional responsibilities include answering a multi-line phone system, handling returns and exchanges, placing special orders, and maintaining accurate sales records. The position also supports operational needs such as vehicle inventorying, basic equipment assembly or repair, and routine facility cleaning to ensure a safe, organized, and customerready environment.
