Commercial Insurance Sales Agent Full-Time | Onsite Only | Paso Robles, CA Ted Hamm Insurance Agency

Compensation

: $30$45 per hour (DOE) and 40% new business commission and 20% renewal commission and Monthly KPI bonus

Job Summary

Ted Hamm Insurance Agency is seeking an experienced and licensed Commercial Insurance Sales Agent to join our boutique independent agency in Paso Robles, California. This is an onsite role that includes managing a high-value assigned book of business while actively prospecting and generating new commercial clients that align with our niche specialties.

Key Responsibilities

Account Management (40% of time) Lead and manage an assigned book of highly valued clients Book composition: 60% contractors and 40% farm & ranch Provide exceptional service, education, and support to clients Work closely with a full-time unlicensed CSR for administrative and service support Retain accounts and foster referral relationships New Business Development (60% of time) Use our curated subscription services to research ideal prospects in defined niche markets Conduct outreach via social media, mail, phone, and in-person visits Build and nurture relationships until prospects are ready to quote Conduct consultative (not high-pressure) sales conversations Achieve monthly and quarterly KPI goals

Qualifications

Active California P &C License required Minimum 3 years experience in an independent insurance agency Proven commercial lines sales and service experience Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Confident insurance knowledge and ability to advise clients professionally Warm, relationship-driven approach Highly self-motivated, organized, and accountable Must work onsite in Paso Robles this is not a remote or hybrid role
