Full description of the position

Under direct supervision, responsible for processing orders, data entry, customer quotes, for materials or merchandise from direct customer contact supporting the Western Region Sales team ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Responsible for processing orders for materials or merchandise from direct customer contact.
• Create and monitor work orders to meet production and customer requirements.
• Create sales order's ensuring proper documentation and approvals are obtained prior to order booking.
• Maintains customer files with sales purchase orders, sales orders and other information.
• Tracks sales shipment, delivery, and backlog activities, providing internal sales reports when needed.
• Provides technical assistance to customers and sales personnel via telephone.
• Act as a Liaison between customers and manufacturing, logistics, purchasing, sales, field service and accounting to resolve status, production, delivery and billing inquiries.
• Provide status and data for weekly customer reporting. Education
• High School diploma, Associates or equivalent experience. Experience
• Four (4) to Six (6) years administrative experience, preferably in a professional office setting.
• Working knowledge of general policies and procedures.
• Strong Customer Relations skills. SKILLS & ABILITIES
• Sufficient PC skills to manage information and good ten key data entry skills.
• Working knowledge of MS Office products including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Strong relationship building skills with ability to collaborate and work effectively with internal colleagues and customer.
• Demonstrated teamwork and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Must be detail oriented.
