Overview

Blaige & Company is a sector-focused investment bank advising CEOs, private equity firms, and global strategic buyers on M&A; transactions across the plastics, packaging, and chemicals industries. We are seeking a Deal Origination Associate to lead outreach to business owners and executives and generate proprietary deal flow. This is a front-line, performance-driven role focused on initiating conversations, building relationships, and creating opportunities. You will work directly with senior leadership in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment. This is not an investment banking analyst role.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct targeted outreach via phone and email to business owners and executives
• Clearly articulate the firm's M&A; advisory value proposition
• Manage outreach campaigns and execute disciplined follow-up
• Qualify opportunities and schedule meetings for senior team members
• Track activity in CRM and support broader business development efforts Candidate Profile
• 2+ years in business development, deal sourcing, sales, or outreach-focused roles
• Confident communicator comfortable engaging senior executives
• Highly organized with strong follow-through
• Self-starter with resilience in a performance-driven environment

Compensation

Base salary of $60,000 to $70,000 , with a performance-based bonus structure tied to outreach effectiveness and deal flow generation. Total compensation is expected to range from $75,000 to $100,000+ , with uncapped upside for top performers.
