Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Interim Assistant Manager to join our retail management team. As an Interim Assistant Manager, you will play a vital role in maintaining operational excellence, managing inventory, and supporting store growth initiatives. Duties

• Assist in managing daily store operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow across all departments
• Lead, motivate, and supervise retail staff to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service
• Oversee inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising to maximize sales opportunities
• Support hiring, onboarding, training, and employee orientation efforts to build a high-performing team
• Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and maintain excellent phone etiquette
• Manage cash handling, POS transactions, payroll processing, and bookkeeping tasks with accuracy
• Implement pricing strategies, promotional campaigns, and marketing initiatives to boost store visibility and sales
• Conduct shift management duties including scheduling, supervising cashiering activities, and ensuring operational compliance

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Assistant Manager or in a supervisory retail role with strong leadership skills
• Extensive knowledge of retail industry sales processes including sales management, merchandising, inventory management, and POS systems
• Demonstrated ability in employee recruitment, interviewing, training & development, and team supervision
• Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly desirable
• Strong organizational skills with proficiency in retail math, budgeting, and cash handling procedures
• Experienced and passionate in retail fashion
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining attention to detail
• Familiarity with operational management tasks such as purchasing, inventory control, pricing strategies, and store management software
• Leadership qualities with a focus on motivating teams and fostering a positive work environment
