About Metro Property Management Metro Property Management is a fast-growing Connecticut-based firm specializing in condominium and homeowner association management. We provide full-service, technology-driven management focused on transparency, responsiveness, and strong board partnerships. Due to continued portfolio growth, we are expanding our management team and are seeking an experienced Account Manager to support our association clients. Position

Overview

The Account Manager serves as the primary relationship manager for assigned condominium and homeowner association clients. This role focuses on:

• Board partnership and leadership
• Vendor and project coordination
• Budget planning and financial review
• Community operations oversight Important: Our Account Managers are supported by centralized financial operations and maintenance coordination teams. This role is designed to be relationship and strategy focused not accounting data entry focused.

Key Responsibilities

Client & Board Management

• Serve as primary point of contact for assigned associations
• Attend and lead board meetings
• Provide operational guidance and industry expertise to boards
• Support rule enforcement and governance guidance Financial Oversight (Review, Not Data Entry)
• Review monthly financial reports prepared by accounting team
• Assist with annual budget preparation
• Monitor reserve funding and long-term planning
• Help boards understand financial performance Community Operations
• Support maintenance coordination team with escalations
• Manage owner and board escalations
• Maintain strong communication with clients What Makes This Role Different At Metro:
• Accounting team handles AP, AR, and financial package preparation
• Maintenance team coordinates work orders and vendor dispatch
• Administrative team supports documentation and processing This allows Account Managers to focus on client relationships, strategy, and community leadership.

Qualifications

Required

• Property management or HOA / condominium management experience
• Strong communication and client management skills
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple communities Preferred
• CMCA, AMS, PCAM, or similar certifications
• Buildium or property management software experience
• HOA / condominium governance knowledge
