Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping needs, including product demonstrations and upselling opportunities
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for retail sales transactions, handling cash and card payments with accuracy
• Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure displays are attractive and well-maintained
• Pack purchased items carefully to prevent damage during transport and prepare orders for pickup or delivery
• Maintain clean and organized work areas, including back stock rooms and sales floors
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about products, store policies, and promotions
• Support merchandising efforts by setting up promotional displays and ensuring product placement aligns with marketing strategies

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not mandatory; a positive attitude is essential
• Will be using Cash Register and Square System
• Strong communication skills to engage confidently with customers and team members
• Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs effective
• Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately for sales totals and inventory counts
• Excellent phone etiquette when interacting with customers over the phone or in person
