Burke Family Agency is hiring for an Insurance Sales/Service Agent to join our growing team in East Brunswick, NJ! Candidate must be Property & Casualty licensed and able to commute to our office location in order to be considered.

Qualifications

for the Insurance Sales/Service Agent:

• Property & Casualty license is required
• Sales experience is highly preferred
• Insurance experience is preferred
• Life & Health license is a plus
• Proven track record of trustworthiness, dependability and ethical behavior
• Excellent communication skills: written, verbal and listening
• Must have strong interpersonal communication skills
• Must be motivated and determined

Responsibilities

for the Insurance Sales/Service Agent:

• Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales
• Establish client relationships and follow up with clients, as needed
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly client support. (support can include responding to inquiries)
• Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success each and every day
• Develop new financial service opportunities with both existing and new clients
• Meet personal/customer service team sales targets and call handling quotas
• Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
• Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
• Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
• Take the extra mile to engage customers Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
