Roy Miller Freight Lines LLC a California LTL freight carrier is seeking a sales account professional to join our Sacramento region team. As an Account Executive you will travel within our Sacramento service area interacting with both existing customers, prospective customers and interact with our terminal's operations staff. As such, we require that your working day begins and ends at the terminal location. Your responsibility will be to maintain and grow existing business relationships as well as develop new business relationships. QUALIFICATIONS: Verifiable experience in the LTL transportation industry or related fields, preferably with some operations background. Customer Service experience and rates/tariff knowledge is a plus. SKILLS REQUIRED: Candidate must have strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build confidence with the customers. Candidate must be able to interpret and understand customer needs and offer appropriate solutions. Candidate must understand the balance between service and cost and be able to negotiate effectively when establishing pricing with the customer. Candidate must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office. BENEFITS: We offer a comprehensive benefits package .
