Full description of the position

We are seeking a professional Manufacturing Sales Coordinator to join a growing team in Melrose Park, IL. This is a full time, permanent/direct hire position with full benefits. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a support role within a manufacturing setting and will have strong ERP system experience.

Job Description

:

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding order status, product availability, shipping schedules, invoices, and other order-related questions
• Address customer concerns and complaints
• Monitor shipments and collaborate with logistics providers to investigate and resolve delivery delays
• Track and follow up on outstanding issues to ensure timely resolution and customer satisfaction
• Gather and communicate customer feedback to internal teams
• Prepare and distribute customer quotations as requested
• Maintain accurate customer records, documentation, correspondence, and order activity within the ERP system
• Collaborate with several internal teams to support successful order execution
• Coordinate customer requests for engineering drawings, product samples, certifications, technical data sheets, compliance documentation, and related materials
• Participate in daily production meetings, and share relevant information with the Parts Sales Coordinator team
• Monitor open orders and delivery schedules, providing status updates and Open Order Reports to customers when requested
• Support departmental projects, special assignments, and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
• Manufacturing experience (Strongly Preferred)
• 2 years of experience in customer service, sales support, order management, sales coordination, or a related role
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Experience using ERP and CRM systems Hours:
• Monday to Friday (8am to 5pm)
• 100% ONSITE
