Job Description

: Insurance by Hand is one of the fastest growing insurance companies in Indiana. As a young, vibrant agency, we are having fun growing and winner over customers! We currently have 3 locations. Fort Wayne, Muncie and Logansport. We sell and service customers in Indiana, Florida, Texas and Michigan. Insurance by Hand is seeking a motivated Licensed Agent/Customer Service Representative to join our growing team. This role combines sales performance, exceptional customer service, and active community engagement to help drive agency growth. The ideal candidate will thrive in a goal-oriented environment, be eager to build strong relationships with clients and partners, and contribute to the agency's overall success, including during times of expansion and transition. This role supporting the Muncie and Fort Wayne office, while also servicing customers around the state. This role is critical to our long term growth. You will learn and have the opportunity to serve customers from a wide variety of demographics, work in industry leading techology, build relationships with top carriers like Progressive and Geico, expand your Marketing experience by supporting ongoing marketing campaigns and more. As we continue to grow organically and through acquisitions, you will have the opportunity to advance your career. This role offers salary, as well as commission opportunities for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

:

• Service existing clients by addressing policy changes, answering coverage questions, and resolving issues promptly.
• Utilize the agency's designated software systems for sales, service, and client management.
• Attend all required training sessions, team meetings, and agency events.
• Build and maintain a strong professional network within the local community.
• Support office setup and organization, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment.
• Collaborate with agency leadership to create and execute marketing plans.
• Perform additional duties as needed to support agency growth and success.
• Support the ongoing training of new employees.
• Identify opportunities for growth for the agency
• Support Social Media marketing campaigns

Qualifications

:

• Insurance Agency Experience
• Proven track record in sales and customer service.
• Team Player! Having fun and supporting our team is critical.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable with technology, CRM systems, and digital marketing tools.
• Ability to adapt to change and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• While this role does not require an insurance license, applicants with a license are preferred. If you are a CSR you will be encouraged to secure your license during your first 12 months, paid for by IBH once you pass.

Work Environment

: In Office Hours: Normal business hours. This is a really unique opportunity for the right candidate to join a dynamic team, work flexible hours, and earn unlimited money on commissions!! Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
