Full description of the position

The Route sales representative is responsible for maximizing sales, market share, and profits. In this role you will handle all aspects of product merchandising in your assigned area. This will include stocking, straightening, replenishing, and tracking the inventory of Petrey Novelty products.

: Drive a designated route to deliver and sell products to customers, merchandise product on store shelves and counter, obtain a signed receipt Organize and stock inventory on delivery truck Sell and promote company products to customers in a fast-paced work environment Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with customers Safely operate a company vehicle while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations Lift and carry heavy loads of products during deliveries (frequent lifting, bending, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs.) while adhering to the safety expectations and processes Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions Visit current accounts to monitor adherence to sales expectations Establish and maintain positive client relationships Other responsibilities as assigned Job

Requirements

: Valid driver's license Ability to lift and carry heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) Strong organizational skills to manage inventory on the delivery truck Excellent communication skills to interact with customers effectively Ability to sell and promote products to customers Customer service-oriented mindset 40% travel with hotels paid and meal allowance Occasional work on weekends Must successfully complete pre-employment screenings, including background check, MVR, and drug screen, as determined by the company NO CDL LICENSE REQUIRED Company vehicle provided / box truck (vehicle expenses are paid)
