Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience
• Assist customers in selecting products, offering knowledgeable advice and product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
• Upsell additional products or services to meet customer needs and maximize sales opportunities
• Maintain visual merchandising standards by stocking shelves, arranging displays, and ensuring the sales floor is clean, organized, and inviting
• Conduct product demos to educate customers about new or featured items, enhancing their understanding and interest
• Manage inventory by stocking shelves, conducting stock checks, and assisting with inventory counts to ensure product availability
• Use effective phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting remote customers, ensuring clear communication at all times
• Supervise or assist in supervising team members when needed, supporting a collaborative store environment Experience
• Prior experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic retail math to accurately process transactions
• Bilingual skills are a plus to serve a diverse customer base effectively
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and team members
• Experience in grocery stores or similar retail environments is beneficial but not mandatory
