Job Title : Account Executive Job Type : Full Time, 40 hours per week Salary : $45,000.00 - $190,000.00 per year, dependent on Experience. This job posting is for our US office (Maple Lane Logistics (USA) Inc. located in the Bellevue/Redmond area. What we are looking for... We are seeking a motivated Freight Forwarding Account Executive to join our dynamic logistics team. The ideal candidate will have previous sales experience and a proven track record of achieving sales targets within the freight forwarding or logistics industry. In this role, you will support business development efforts, build and maintain customer relationships, communicate with overseas agents, and assist in managing NVOCC contracts. The ability to analyze customer needs and present tailored logistics solutions is essential. We are looking for candidates with strong follow-up abilities, excellent organizational skills, and professional email communication skills to ensure consistent client engagement and operational accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

:

• Assist in developing and maintaining client relationships in freight forwarding (air/ocean/land).
• Communicate daily with overseas agents and clients
• Support sales strategies to grow business with NVOCC contracts and logistics services.
• Prepare quotes, negotiate rates, and coordinate shipments.
• Track market trends and identify new business opportunities.
• Handle documentation (BLs, AWBs, customs filings) and ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with operations teams to ensure smooth freight movements.

Requirements

:

• Associate degree or bachelor's degree in business, Logistics or Supply Chain
• Prior successful experience in freight forwarding, logistics sales, or NVOCC operations with proven track record
• Knowledge of Incoterms, shipping documentation, and rate structures.
• Strong negotiation and customer service skills.
• Experience dealing with a high volume of data entry.
• Proficient in MS Office and logistics software (Cargowise, etc.).
• Self-driven with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

:

• Experience with NVOCC contracts or pricing.
• Familiarity with key Trans-Pacific trade lanes (Asia-US).
• Reading and writing proficiency in a second language (highly preferred)
